we are pleased to present the solo exhibition by Carlo Pizzichini, the third chapter of the “Paesaggi dell’Anima”, on Friday, 8th August in the beautiful setting of Borgo Scopeto Relais, Siena.
In the heart of Tuscany, where rolling hills meet and light creates timeless textures, “Paesaggi dell’Anima” is born, a journey through painting that celebrates the intimate connection between art and the land. In collaboration with Borgo Scopeto Relais, the exhibition aims to immerse guests in the essence of the Tuscan landscape through the works of contemporary painters.
Borgo Scopeto Relais is a charming medieval village located in the heart of Chianti. With its origins dating back to the year 1000, the structure embodies the harmony between past and present, nature and culture, making it the ideal venue for events that highlight the beauty of the Tuscan landscape.
“Paesaggi dell’Anima” explores the poetics of nature, the shifting light that caresses the vineyards and olive groves, and the memory of the land translated into emotion on canvas, through an ever-changing selection of paintings in diverse styles. From realism to the post-Macchiaioli school, the artists on display reinterpret landscape not only as an aesthetic representation, but as a sensorial and spiritual experience, inviting the public to reflect on the relationship between humanity and the environment.
The exhibition thus becomes a visual and sensorial journey, where art and nature meet in a timeless dialogue. “Paesaggi dell’Anima” is not only a celebration of Tuscan beauty, but a tribute to the evocative power of art, capable of capturing the essence of a place and expressing it in a new and universal form.
