Yes, we use a company with many years’ experience in the logistics and shipping of works of art.
The works are packed in wooden or cardboard crates to ensure they remain undamaged; each piece is also protected with bubble wrap and polystyrene and handled with the utmost care.
All shipments are insured for the full invoice amount.
We advise customers to accept delivery subject to inspection and to check that the packaging is undamaged. If the packaging is damaged, please follow the instructions for assistance set out in the Terms and Conditions.
Shipments are made by national and international couriers for both CEE and non-EEC countries. Deliveries are made door-to-door. The customer receives a tracking number when the parcel is dispatched and is contacted by the courier prior to delivery via email or telephone.
The Gallery shall not be liable for any charges imposed by customs. Any customs duties and charges shall be borne by the purchaser and are excluded from the price of the artwork and the shipping costs. Any storage charges incurred at the freight forwarders’ warehouses due to a delay in the collection of the artworks shall be borne by the Customer.
Every shipment is accompanied by an invoice and, for non-EEA countries, by a self-certification endorsed by the Export Office of the Superintendency of Fine Arts. This process may take several weeks.
